This role is the face of Guardian Data LLC and it allows you to bring us your talent, skills, and enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service. This role requires overnight stays and travel within a dedicated region.

What the job involves:

• Drivers are responsible for driving a company CDL vehicle to transport materials from client locations, loading and unloading through a variety of mechanisms using wireless scanning technology, preparing paperwork and performing daily vehicle maintenance to ensure it functions efficiently
• Communicates in a friendly professional manner with clients and co-workers
• Operates and maintains company CDL vehicle safely and efficiently, whether manual or standard transmission
• Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving without assistance (details below)
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Follows all safety protocols and standards

Travel is required:

• Travel is an essential part of this role, with the expectation of long-haul and regional routes as required
• You may be away from home for extended periods, depending on the assigned routes
• Flexibility in schedule and locations is crucial to meet business needs

Job requirements:

• Minimum age 21 with a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License and good driving record
• At least one year of route transportation experience preferred
• Pass pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical
• Demonstrate safe, efficient driving skills and maintain all security procedures
• Strong customer service and excellent communication skills
• Carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs, ladders
• Lift at least 70 pounds; push/pull bins 25 to 350 pounds, average weight 170 pounds
• Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
• A positive and adaptable attitude
• Desire to take ownership over day-to-day responsibilities
• Willingness to travel 50% - 70% of the time
