As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Gibbstown, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor processing. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to the facility, production areas, and restricted spaces.
• Document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity, issue access credentials as directed, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting unusual activity, assisting with evacuations, and following post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for security-related issues involving doors, gates, fencing, and loading or receiving areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
