A fast-growing media technology company is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to guide architecture and development across a modern web application platform. This hybrid role combines hands-on engineering with team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and system ownership.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performing web applications

• Build and maintain full-stack features using Ruby on Rails and React

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions

• Mentor developers and establish coding best practices and architectural patterns

• Drive improvements in code quality, system reliability, and infrastructure scalability

Tech Stack:

• Ruby on Rails

• React, TypeScript

• Postgres, Redis

• AWS, Kubernetes, Docker

• GraphQL, REST APIs

You Bring:

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with a strong background in Ruby and React

• Deep understanding of software architecture, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with product and business teams

• Passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement

• A proactive, leadership-oriented mindset in fast-paced environments

Nice to Have:

• Experience in the media, content, or platform space

• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems

• Knowledge of CI/CD, performance tuning, and observability tools
