We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Associate to join our team in East Rutherford, New Jersey. In this role, you will provide administrative and accounting support for one or more properties, ensuring smooth operations and fostering strong tenant relationships. This is a long-term contract position, offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:• Review and code invoices for payment processing to support accounts payable functions.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including preparing and sending bills, issuing collection notices, and making manual billing adjustments.
• Monitor administrative expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Manage lease-related documentation, including execution, distribution, and filing processes.
• Track lease notification requirements to ensure timely communication and compliance with deadlines.
• Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems to facilitate efficient record-keeping.
• Coordinate mail distribution, including sorting incoming mail and preparing outgoing packages.
• Create and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports as needed.
• Support tenant relations by assisting with move-in and move-out procedures and participating in tenant orientation programs.
• Ensure compliance with management and engineering audits by preparing necessary files and records.• Proven experience in customer service and administrative roles.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage filing systems and documentation.
• Familiarity with budgeting and expense tracking procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software applications.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and insurance certificate requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate tasks effectively and manage multiple priorities.
