Python Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid) . This role involves developing object-oriented software in Python, building data transfer tools, and designing interfaces between UI and REST services.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/ hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer job responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications for Independent Price Verification in Global Markets.

• Design and implement data transfer tools to replicate data between NoSQL and Oracle (Exadata) databases.

• Build and maintain RESTful web services for efficient application integration.

• Develop data-grid centric UIs using the Angular framework.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment, including daily stand-ups and pair programming.

• Write optimized SQL queries and design database tables for efficient data handling.

• Ensure code quality through test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6-10 years of overall technology experience, with 3-5 years of Python development experience.

• Experience in developing object-oriented software in Python and other programming languages like Java or C++.

• Strong experience with SQL database design, tuning, and query optimization.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
