Job Title: Medical Records Specialist

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Compensation: $21 – $22 per hour

Type: Contract – 3-Month Assignment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (ECW REQUIRED)
• Strong data entry and patient registration skills
• Comfortable managing a high volume of patient outreach in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fully remote team setting

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring Medical Records Specialists on behalf of our client to support a large-scale patient outreach and data management project. This fully remote contract role focuses on streamlining the collection, processing, and follow-up of patient information to ensure accurate and timely medical record updates.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, standard 8-hour shifts
• Potential for overtime based on project needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact patients by phone and electronic communication to gather required medical forms and information
• Manage a high volume of patient accounts and ensure timely follow-up
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain patient information in the ECW
• Coordinate responses for patients who do not engage with initial outreach
• Collaborate closely with the team to meet project deadlines and compliance requirements
