Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wiring Technician with strong experience in electrical systems and mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate will have experience in wiring automotive systems and a keen understanding of electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Pull electrical wires through snow plow mirrors and run them down into the controller.
• Demonstrate knowledge in 12V based automotive electrical systems, including automotive circuits, emergency lighting, relays, fusing, and amperage ratings.
• Conduct voltage testing and manage wire harnesses efficiently.
• Utilize crimping, electrical assembly, and hand tools for installations.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics and assemble electrical components for trucks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electrical wiring and automotive maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in working with automotive circuits.
• Knowledge of lighting systems including emergency type lighting.
• Familiarity with automotive relays and fusing techniques.
• Understanding of voltage testing and wire gauge ratings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with car alarms or remote start systems is a plus.
• Ability to work with hand tools and read wiring schematics.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Randolph, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
