Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center provide treatment and services for more than 370,000 outpatient visits annually.
Qualifications:
Required:- Graduate from an accredited school or university.
- BSN is required.
- Five (5) years in Acute Care Clinical Experience.
- Three (3) years of RN experience in Maternal/Child services such as L&D and Mother/Baby (L&D experience required).
- Previous L&D OR Experience preferred.
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
Preferred:
- Two (2) years of Professional Development and/or Education experience.
- Master's degree in Education, Nursing, and/or Health Related Field post-master's certificate in education.
- Specialty Board Certification.
- Proof of publication.
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- A current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey is required.
- American Heart Association BLS required.
- American Heart Association ACLS provider preferred/required within 6 months.
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) required.
- Specialty nursing certification such as RNC-OB and/or Nursing Professional Development—Board Certified/NPD-BC preferred.
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full-Time, Day Shift
- 37.5 Hrs Weekly
- No Holidays
- Occasional Off Shift Needs for Rounding / Orientation
Essential Functions: Responsible for participating in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of education and training for hospital associates. Educates and mentors nursing staff on quality improvement and evidence-based practice. Facilitates professional role development and practices role transitions, including the RN Residency Program. Develops and implements initial and ongoing competencies alongside department leadership. Demonstrates effective teaching skills through appropriate instruction methodologies; communicates principles of adult education and applies adult learning theory when conducting programs. Provides for orientation, in-service training, and continuing education. Organizes multiple assignments and/or projects simultaneously to accomplish goals. Visible and accessible to clinical staff. Additional duties and responsibilities as delegated within NPD Scope and Standards of Practice. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and independent prioritization of responsibilities.
