Release Manager
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Release Manager in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Release Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage technology releases across multiple applications and teams
- Develop release schedules, deployment plans, and readiness checkpoints to support successful delivery
- Facilitate release planning, status meetings, readiness reviews, and stakeholder communications
- Identify, track, and mitigate release risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of production deployments
- As a Release Manager, you will monitor release activities, manage escalations, and support post-release validation efforts
- Prepare release metrics, dashboards, and executive-level status updates
- Drive continuous improvement of release management processes, governance, automation, and operational stability
- 5+ years of experience in Release Management, Program Management, Production Support, or a related field
- Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional technology initiatives and software releases
- Experience managing project timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong understanding of release management, change management, and deployment processes
- Proficiency with project management, collaboration, and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities across technical and business teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within regulated industries or large enterprise environments is a plus
- PMP, Agile, or related certifications are preferred
