We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Clinton, NJ. Job Details Salary: $20 to $32 per hour Job Type: Full Time Location: Clinton, NJ 08809 Position Summary As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Your personal work habits and ethics play a vital role in delivering quality service. You will also set and monitor goals to continuously improve performance based on customer satisfaction and production metrics. Key Responsibilities Diagnose customer vehicle concerns using the latest diagnostic and administrative tools Provide courteous and professional communication with all customers Assist as a secondary greeter in the service drive area to enhance customer experience Stay current with technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations Deliver safe and reliable vehicle service on the first attempt Address all initial customer concerns before proceeding with additional recommendations Inspect vehicles for maintenance according to factory and local recommendations and identify additional service opportunities Ensure vehicles are returned to customers clean or cleaner than when received Participate in factory and in-house training programs to maintain and improve technical skills Complete all paperwork accurately and attach required shop forms to repair orders Perform other duties as assigned by management Maintain punctuality and professional appearance, including uniform compliance Work Hours This is a full-time position with standard service center hours.
