We are currently looking for a Bilingual Office Assistant to join our team at our office located at 440 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ.
In this role, you will:
- Optimize Office Operations: Ensure the office remains organized, manage physical and digital client files, and oversee correspondence.
- Deliver Superior Service: Provide exceptional customer service (primarily in Spanish) via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Provide Strategic Legal Support: Assist attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day assignments, including the assembly of application packages.
- Facilitate Client Success: Ensure clients accurately understand their case status under the guidance of the legal team.
Requirements
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent or native Spanish and English communication skills.
- Core Values: Must be customer-focused, maintain a "can-do" attitude, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills characterized by honesty, empathy, and clarity. Strong professional writing skills are essential.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, Slack, Monday, and Case Management Systems (e.g., CampLegal).
- Operational Skills: Highly organized with a detail-oriented approach and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Adaptability: A quick learner able to master new systems and react with appropriate urgency to firm requests.
- Professional Alignment: A genuine passion for furthering immigrants' rights is necessary for success in this role.
- Legal & Location: Must have legal authorization to work in the USA and currently reside in New Jersey.
