**Job Title** Associate Manager, Health Safety Environment, Perfumery & Beauty **Location** Somerset, NJ **Onsite** As the Associate Manager SHE, you are responsible to provide health, safety, and environmental leadership and provide your knowledge and guidance across all operational departments and teams for our perfumery site. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive, maintain and improve operational Health, Safety, and Environmental processes, initiatives, projects and campaigns, provide data-based direction for improvement, while building capabilities and a learning culture together with the site leadership team. This is a shared function reporting to the Senior SHE Manager, Princeton P&B site. **Your key responsibilities** + Be a well-rounded HSE solution partner in protecting our people, the environment, and our assets to support sustainable business growth by building effective relationship, coaching, influencing and supporting stakeholders at all levels within the organization to strengthen HSE culture. + Ensure the local HSE management system is effectively designed, implemented, and controlled and meets Firmenich standards, ISO standards, and all relevant regulatory requirements. + Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the site operations and detailed processes and ensure key risks are well-understood and mitigated through the site Management System and action plans. Industry certifications such as ASP, CSP, CHMM a plus. + Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience working with regulatory agencies. Familiar with root cause and risk assessment methodologies + Strong influential and communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to convey complex concepts in relatable terms across all levels of the organization. + Working knowledge and understanding of HSE regulations and ISO management systems and principles including but not limited to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. + Be adept at working under pressure and demonstrate the ability to confidently make decisions with incomplete or conflicting data applying sound judgment and good reasoning skills. + High proficiency with standard office programs such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to manipulate, analyze, and summarize data to provide key insights and develop strategic and tactical plans. The salary provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. The salary range for this position is $128,700 - $140,000 In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
