Key Responsibilities

• Install maintain and repair electrical systems machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using schematics diagrams and test equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations electrical codes and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Calibrate test and adjust electrical equipment and instrumentation for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve electrical problems efficiently.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent state/provincial certification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot diagnose and repair PLCs motor controls and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and strict adherence to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems
• Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• Arc Flash Safety training or certification
• Instrumentation and calibration experience
