Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

Join our team as a Foreman Electrician, where you will have the opportunity to work in diverse environments, including chemical plants, waste plants, and food production facilities. You will start and finish your day in Hillside, with a company-provided work van, serving locations within 30 miles of Newark Airport, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and work in various industrial facilities throughout Northern NJ.
• Perform electrical work, including troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of electrical systems.
• Manage high voltage and wiring tasks, ensuring compliance with NEC codes.
• Bend and thread rigid conduit and perform conduit bending.
• Implement motor controls and conduct PLC troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Handle hazardous location wiring with precision and safety.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency services once every three months.

Essential Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
• Proficiency in NEC code, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial repairs.
• Ability to bend conduit and perform conduit threading.
• Strong understanding of motor controls and high voltage systems.
• Experience with hazardous location wiring and blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid electrician's license.
• Proficiency with necessary tools and equipment.
• Experience in industrial settings is highly preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillside, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
