Position Overview

Our client is seeking an HR Intake Specialist to process new hire paperwork, coordinate onboarding activities, and maintain accurate employee records. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a career in Human Resources. No prior HR experience required – our client will train the right candidate!

What You'll Do

New Hire Processing:

• Process new hire paperwork for field workers, office staff, and management
• Review intake forms for accuracy and completeness
• Collect and verify required documentation (I-9, W-4, direct deposit forms)
• Enter employee data into HR systems with accuracy
• Maintain confidential employee files

Onboarding Coordination:

• Schedule new hire orientations
• Prepare welcome packets and materials
• Process I-9 verification and E-Verify submissions
• Coordinate background checks and drug screenings
• Track onboarding completion and follow up on missing items

Administrative Support:

• Answer calls and emails from new hires
• Respond to employment verification requests
• Prepare reports on onboarding status
• File and organize HR documents
• Assist with special projects as needed

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 0-2 years of administrative or office experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Organized and able to multitask
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM

Preferred:

• Associate's degree
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Previous office or administrative experience
• Customer service experience

No HR experience required! Our client provides comprehensive training on:
