Warehouse Associate

Staff Management Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our client in Lyndhurst, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 4AM – 12:30PM or
• 2nd Shift: 12PM – 8:30PM
• Sunday to Friday
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate:

• $17.36 hour 

Job Summary:

We are seeking dependable Warehouse Associates to support daily operations in a cold storage facility. This role involves packing, labeling, sorting, and preparing food products for shipment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a refrigerated environment and committed to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pack, label, and sort food products according to company standards
• Prepare items for shipment and ensure proper handling of goods
• Pick orders accurately and efficiently
• Palletize boxes and stage products for distribution
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Support additional warehouse tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in a cold storage environment (34°F – 38°F)
• Must wear appropriate warm clothing
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

• Cold storage environment with temperatures ranging from 34°F to 38°F (1°C to 3°C)
• Fast-paced setting with a focus on productivity and accuracy
