We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our HR department. The ideal candidate will assist in HR administrative tasks, help maintain employee records, support recruitment and onboarding processes, and provide excellent internal customer service. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow a career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily administrative tasks of the HR department.
- Maintain and update employee records, both digital and physical.
- Help coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process for employees.
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts and new hire guides.
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration as needed.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Help organize employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
- Bilingual -English/Spanish
- Knowledge of basic HR functions and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
