Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper who doesn't just enter numbers—you understand why the numbers matter.
The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting and can confidently work with debits and credits, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies before they become problems. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities
- Record and post journal entries accurately
- Maintain the general ledger
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assist with month-end close
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Support the accounting team with reporting and special projects
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
