We are seeking a Leasing Consultant to support our client in Ocean County. This role is a contract position with the potential of going full-time.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current tenants regarding leasing inquiries.
- Coordinate property tours, manage appointment scheduling, and follow up on leads.
- Process leasing applications and complete relevant documentation.
- Conduct background and credit checks on applicants.
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure accuracy of all paperwork.
- Maintain and update property availability lists and marketing materials.
- Assist with move-in and move-out procedures, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Respond promptly to tenant questions and concerns throughout the leasing process.
- Track lease expirations, renewals, and maintain tenant files.
- Collaborate with property management, maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Self-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
• Ability to travel occasionally to local properties, with access to a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.
• Familiarity with affordable housing, tax credit programs, or property management is advantageous, though training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills and experience in data entry, email correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
