Product Manager
Job Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for acting as the “Voice of the Customer” for all stages and types of Technology department initiatives, which may include researching and analyzing data, defining requirements, prioritizing features, and improvements.
Responsibilities
- Acts as an advocate for the customer and internal stakeholders as it relates to product issues and improvements
- Understands vision, direction and priority of the Product Backlog
- Defines the Product Backlog for the assigned product and presents business justification for prioritization of backlog items
- Clearly communicates business objectives and requirements for the assigned product requirements
- Performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to functionality requirement documentation, customer beta programs, pricing analytics. Works with other departments in a cross functional environment
- Directly supports customer escalations, demonstrations and on-site visits
- A degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Liaises with Product Marketing to ensure product positioning is optimally communicated
- Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS policies, procedures, and values
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Product Management experience.
- Technical ability to lead project assignments with a wide range of complexity in various areas of knowledge.
- Ability to set and run priorities judiciously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative problem solving, business judgment and financial skill are required
- Solid understanding and experience of product roadmap planning
- Relationship building skills and the ability to plan and influence across all departments in the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey thoughts and ideas across all levels of the organization
- Strong research capability with an interest in the competitive landscape
