Warehouse Supervisor

Staff Management Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our client in Somerset, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule

• 1st Shift - Monday - Friday
• Training Schedule: 6AM - 2:30PM
• Post-Training Schedule: 7AM - 3:30PM
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate

• $27 - $28.50 / hour

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily

operations at our Somerset, NJ facility. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring

efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory, shipping, receiving, and material storage

processes. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and team leader with a strong

understanding of warehouse systems and best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and ensure productivity targets are met.
• Track and report attendance; address performance and attendance issues through
• coaching and documentation.
• Conduct daily team meetings to communicate tasks, updates, and resolve issues.
• Promote a collaborative and solution-oriented team culture.
• Enforce safety protocols and company policies across all warehouse activities.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure proper documentation.
• Proactively address and reduce workplace hazards and near-miss incidents.
• Ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures to maintain product integrity.
• Monitor inventory movement and resolve discrepancies to minimize risk and waste.
• Maintain and report on daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Lead short daily huddles to review metrics and align team priorities.
• Provide accurate reports to leadership to support operational decisions.
• Monitor the status of Work Orders (WO), RBI, and RBS.
• Identify potential delays and propose timely recovery plans.
• Serve as a working supervisor, actively participating in order completion.
• Ensure accurate use of RF scanners and Snapfulfill WMS for task traceability.
• Utilize Snapfulfill WMS and RF scanners for all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Train and guide team members on system usage and SOP compliance.
• Provide daily written updates on work order statuses, risks, and action plans.
• Confirm interdepartmental task completions via Slack or email.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to avoid bottlenecks.

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervision or relevant leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and inventory control procedures
• (FIFO).
• Proficient in Snapfulfill WMS (or similar systems) and RF scanning equipment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
