Survey Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Survey Technician to support field and office survey operations. This individual will play a key role in processing data, assisting with stakeouts, and supporting drafting and mapping efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, familiar with CAD tools, and eager to grow in the surveying profession.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
- Download and process field data for use in survey mapping
- Convert raw data files and maintain organized project records
- Support stakeout calculations and QA/QC of field deliverables
- Draft survey plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D (or equivalent software)
- Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- 1â3 years of experience in land surveying or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD platforms
- Strong understanding of survey data collection and reduction
- CST certification preferred but not required
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Pay:
- Competitive salary ($55kâ$65k, based on experience)
