Account Maintenance Coordinator
:
The account maintenance coordinator is responsible for communicating with inbound customers, identifying customer needs, and providing information regarding products. They will create, modify and update information in customer accounts database. They will also assist inbound customers with orders, inquiries and complaints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving incoming calls from customers, identifies customer needs, and provides information regarding products.
- Creates, modifies and updates information in customer accounts database.
- Contacts buying groups to confirm member status.
- Tracks the new account process and escalates delays.
- Ensures proper tax documentation is provided. Processes new customer letters and returned mail.
- Resolves escalated customer calls through problem solving and expertise in all products, processes, and positive relationship building skills.
- Data entry of customer service related items including sales orders, faxes, product transfers, and credits.
- Access customer databases or other files to research customer inquiries.
- Maintains all product and promotional materials in an orderly manner.
Skills/ Competencies
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in customer service, call center experience preferred.
- Ability to sit for long periods.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail. Ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
- Microsoft Office / computer literate. Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
