Description We are looking for a dedicated Worker's Compensation Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and improving workers' compensation claims while collaborating with third-party administrators and field operations teams. This position is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in workers' compensation and contribute to the logistics industry's operational excellence. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with third-party administrators to oversee workers' compensation claims nationwide, ensuring efficient claims management and evaluating reserves and settlements. - Coordinate with field operations teams to gather necessary documentation to support investigations and claim adjustments. - Provide support in reporting, exposure analysis, insurance certifications, and invoice processing. - Analyze workers' compensation metrics to identify trends, investigate changes in results, and recommend process improvements for better file management. - Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely handling of claims. - Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and company policies throughout the claims management process. - Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance the quality of workers' compensation file handling and outcomes. Requirements - Proven experience in workers' compensation claims management or a related field. - Strong knowledge of FMLA and workers' compensation regulations. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams and third-party administrators. - Proficiency in managing documentation and processing claims-related invoices. - Ability to implement process improvements and enhance operational quality. - Familiarity with insurance certifications and exposure analysis. - Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to compliance and accuracy.
