Physical Security Assistant Project Manager

Job Description:
The Physical Security Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all new physical security projects and tasks impacting Client operations located in North America. S/he would be responsible for a proactive approach in the management of the physical security projects and aligning all requirements from Global Security (Client), Global Corporate Real Estate (GCRE) and Client Security Vendors for all projects. PS A Manager will report directly into the Global Security Lead of North America, with a dotted line to the Director of Technical Security NA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the physical security liaison for Global Security with all GCRE and Security Vendors Project Managers (PM) to ensure proper coordination between all responsible parties when pertaining to physical security projects.
- Will develop and implement project management techniques to ensure timely management of physical security projects.
- Assist with the initial walkthrough of all physical security projects with GCRE and Security Vendor Project Managers to ensure the designed access control and camera system by the Director of Technical Security will support the needs of the office.
- Participate with GCRE IT & Owner, Architect, & Contractor (OAC) Meetings to ensure Client support of all phases during planning, construction, and delivery of security support for each project.
- Assist with the final walkthrough of all physical security projects with GCRE and Security Vendor Project Managers to identify any failures of the security system and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Be responsible for the development of policy and standard operating procedures on Physical Security projects are to be requested, accepted, designed, and executed.
- Learn the Resolver software and database to load and track through the database all current and new projects.
- Learn the Security Risk Assessment module within the Resolver database to be able to manage the regional security risk assessment program, undertaking site assessments and recommending mitigations in compliance with Global Security Policy and local regulation.
- Responsible for the identification, development and review of regional security policies and compliance with Global Security policy.
