CMMS Engineer

Technical Source is seeking a CMMS Engineer to support our clients with the use, operation, migration, and analysis of their Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). This is a project-centered, on-site role. You will report to the CMMS Service Lead and work closely with client stakeholders to ensure seamless system implementation and adoption.

What You’ll Do

• Perform field walkdowns to verify equipment and asset data
• Review, cleanse, and translate raw data in preparation for CMMS data migration
• Configure CMMS work instructions, workflows, and asset hierarchies
• Support CMMS system integrations to ensure smooth implementation
• Conduct technical data entry and maintain asset/equipment data in the CMMS
• Prepare and contribute to project status reports; promptly communicate any deviations or delays
• Meet regularly with stakeholders to review progress, communicate changes, and support change management efforts
• Provide end-user support for CMMS navigation and use
• Extract and analyze data using business intelligence tools to support decision-making
• Track client requests and assist with KPI and metric reporting
• Participate in continuous improvement and optimization projects as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of front-end CMMS-related experience
• Experience with SAP or Hexagon CMMS platforms
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel; solid skills with other MS Office applications
• Familiarity with data management and change control processes (paper-based and/or digital)
• Ability to perform field verification and data collection for CMMS assets
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and to quality standards
• Fast learner with the ability to understand new software platforms quickly
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on building high-quality, error-free CMMS data

Preferred

• Associate degree in a STEM field or trade certification in instrumentation, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field
• Experience supporting CMMS in life sciences environments
