Job Overview:
In this contingent resource assignment, you will have the opportunity to consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables, review and analyze moderately complex challenges requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables. This role requires leveraging a solid understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering.
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
• Collaborate with client personnel to meet Software Engineering deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with function policies, procedures, and requirements.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer with hands-on expertise in front-end user experience, APIs, backend, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and NoSQL/SQL development and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift containers.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular 7/8, React, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, data modeling, and deployment using tools like Liquibase.
• Proficiency in Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Harness/Maven/Gradle, UCD, GitHub.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube, GitLab, Checkmarx, Black Duck.
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools like ELK Stack, Splunk, AppDynamics.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud providers like Openshift (OCP), GCP, and Azure.
• Experience with API integration using Apigee, Rest API, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in test frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Junit, Jmeter, RestAssured, and Postman.
• 3+ years of proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Shell.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum/Kanban.
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.

Pay Range: $65 - $70/ hour on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
