We are a small, family-owned CPA firm located in Florham Park, NJ, dedicated to providing personalized tax and accounting services to our valued clients. **Position Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparation Professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in both corporate and personal tax preparation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of tax rules surrounding, individual, partnership and corporate entities and will be able to prepare business returns independently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Prepare accurate and timely business and individual tax returns.

- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.

- Advise clients on tax planning strategies and opportunities.

- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall client service and satisfaction.

- Remain current on tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate and personal tax preparation.

- Proficiency in Proseries tax software is a plus and QuickBooks Online and Desktop programs a must.

- Strong understanding of tax rules and regulations related to partnership and corporate entities.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Working Conditions:**

- Flexible hours; however, the candidate must work in the office to start, with potential for a hybrid setup over time.

- Enjoy Fridays off during the non-tax season (from April 16 to August 15 and October 16 to December 31).
