Job Title: Travel RN – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Location: Neptune, NJ 07754

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Schedule: Every Other Weekend and 3 of 6 Holidays Required

Floating: May be required to float to similar units as needed

Pay Rate: $2,343 Weekly Gross

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care for a 13-week contract at a leading acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have exceptional clinical judgment, the ability to multitask in a high-acuity setting, and a patient-centered approach to care.

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, assess patient conditions, and implement care plans accordingly.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Administer medications, document care, and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital standards.

• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions or telemetry readings.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.

• Participate in shift handoffs and follow facility protocols and policies.

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting within an acute care hospital (required).

• Strong clinical background and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Education:

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Licensure: Active New Jersey RN License or Compact Multistate License (required).

• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA)

  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

  • Telemetry Certification

  • 4-Hour CEU in Stroke Care
