A single parent in Westfield is currently seeking a full-time nanny/household manager to support two children, aged 7 and 11 years old. The schedule will be consistent and will rotate on a bi-weekly basis, with prior notice provided for the upcoming schedule. The position guarantees full-time compensation for working between three day (30 hours) to six days (49 hours) per week, during the specified time frames outlined below:

Week One (49 hours):

- Monday: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM 

- Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM

- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

- Thursday: Off

- Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

- Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM – 7 / 9 PM

Week Two (30 hours):

- Monday and Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM

- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

- Thursday through Sunday: Off

Candidates should be flexible, reliable, and prepared for a schedule that varies week to week.

Ideal nanny:

The ideal nanny for this family is patient, kind, organized, responsible, and proactive. They are motivated to take initiative and will notice what needs to be done in order for the household to run smoothly. Bilingual caregiver a plus.

Duties include:

Running errands for groceries and other supplies. Helping with the family’s laundry. Vacuuming and tidying up after the children.

About the children:

This 11-year-old is smart, caring, fun, and outgoing. She really enjoys math and theater/drama after school. She sometimes needs help with her organizational skills. This 7-year old is also smart, caring, and fun. His afterschool activities include flag football.

About the parent:

This busy single dad is caring, fun, and responsible. He has 50% custody of the children. His discipline structure includes explaining to the children what they did wrong in a firm but caring way.
