Mean Joe Green Cleaners LLC in Monmouth and Ocean County NJ Is looking for a housekeeper manager to join our 5 person strong team. We perform service in both Monmouth and Ocean County NJ.

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Housekeeper Manager to oversee all housekeeping operations in our residential property/office building/etc service team. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for both staff and guests. This role requires an individual with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team efficiently.

Responsibilities

*Housekeeper manager will be required to clean facilities & homes with their team members.*

* Housekeeper will be compensated additional based on hiring and overall efficiency of team members. Bonuses of $3-$12 per hour based on hiring standards.

* Additional commissions of add on sales (carpet shampooing, detailed interior window cleaning, upholstery steam cleaning of 25-35% of sales value).

Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping staff to ensure high cleanliness standards.

Develop and implement housekeeping procedures, training, and policies.

Schedule staff shifts and assignments, ensuring proper coverage at all times.

Conduct regular inspections of rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering supplies as needed.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.

Provide feedback, coaching, and training to housekeeping team members.

Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Oversee and assist in daily housekeeping activities to ensure customer satisfication.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Housekeeper Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, or similar role in the hospitality or residential sector.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with budgeting and staff scheduling.

Proficiency with homebase payroll and scheduling system

Bilingual (depending on the location and guest demographic). (nice but not required)

What We Offer:

1099 position $30 per hour base, with hiring incentive $3-$15 per hour for housekeeper team hired.

Commission incentive $200-$300 per week for add on services (carpet shampooing, detailed interior window cleaning, upholstery cleaning, rug cleaning)

Tips generally ranging between $5-$15 per hour.
