Newly remodeled 14 stall barn, on a tranquil and beautifully landscaped farm in Bergen county, NJ.

Head trainer spends 3 months of the year in Ocala, FL. Opportunity to visit/work/ride for the right candidate.

We are a supportive, drama free & fun team, who is interested in working hard while enjoying ourselves in a professional learning-style environment.

Daily horse care including, but not limited to; feeding, turnout, grooming, tacking, bathing, blanketing, clipping, and teaching beginners, while being organized.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, independently self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with good communication skills looking to further their knowledge of horse management and client care or someone who has been on the circuit that would like to have shorter days, no stress, and a life!! Help to train and maintain a couple of lesson and sale horses (not mandatory) while helping to run our small lesson program.

Job is 6 days/week. Typical hours 8-4, additional days off for bad weather & holidays are $100 cash rotated between the team. Shared night check.

Salary is dependent on experience but ranges from $25,000-$35,000. (Actual 53k-56k with housing) Additional income made from teaching lessons and body clipping can be up to $300/week.

Recently updated one bedroom apartment that is bright & cheery in a separate, renovated home on property, which offers a higher level of privacy than typical in-barn set ups. All utilities included (except for cable/internet). Some furnishings available. Parking for 1 car. Approved spouses/children/pets negotiable. Own horse negotiable. Beautiful property with proximity to restaurants, shopping, hiking/camping, and only a 30 minute drive from Manhattan.

On-site housing. Paid 1 week vacation for first year, subject to increase upon performance. Regular riding for right candidate.
