Responsibilities

The following statements are intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required, of an individual assigned to this job. The Patient Transporter transports patients to and from departments. Other duties include but are not limited to; greet and assist patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Transportation experience preferred.
2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification desired.
3. Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent.

Pay Transparency

Saint Michaels Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation dfor this role is $18.52. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
