Territory Sales Manager - Fitness Equipment (Jersey City)
Company Overview: Our client has 40+ years of experience as one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
This is a remote position with territory/field-based travel. The territory is the Greater Jersey City area. Job Summary:- Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to their growing territory in Jersey City, NJ. This position is field-based and primarily hunting for new business.
- In this position, you'll sell into healthcare facilities for rehab and physical therapy, corporate wellness centers within major companies, and elite athletic training programs at the collegiate and national level.
- The Sales Account Manager (Field Sales) will be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospect to close, building a new territory from the ground up, and calling on targeting decision-makers.
- The role boasts variety with a key focus on new business development and account management.
- Ensure that local sales, profitability and cash flow targets are achieved
- Develop business opportunities and exploit market potential
- Generate leads, profile customers, plan activities and update the CRM
- Increase customer satisfaction
- Guarantee adequate market feedback on segment trends
- Maintain and develop existing relationships and seek new opportunities
- Manage the market and carry out an appropriate number of customer/prospect visits inline with company sales code
- At least 3 years’ sales experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar role
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales or a relevant field
- Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions
- Excellent consulting sales approach and negotiation skills
- Solid experience with CRM software. Knowledge of Salesforce would be a plus

- Excellent listening, communications and presentation abilities

Compensation & Benefits:
Our client offers a competitive $80k base salary + uncapped commissions/bonus. Income expectations with commissions are ~$160k+ in the first year, competitive health benefits, 401k, mileage reimbursement, travel/expense allowance, etc.
