Cemetery Manager – Sales

Location: North Bergen, New Jersey
Salary: $100,000 + (Base + Performance Incentives)

We are seeking a proven cemetery manager with strong sales expertise to take full ownership of three established cemetery locations in North Bergen, NJ. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage day-to-day operations while also driving pre-need and at-need sales through personal production and team leadership.

The Opportunity

This is not a caretaker position—it’s a leadership and growth role . The right candidate will treat these cemeteries like their own business: ensuring operational excellence, delivering compassionate service, and maximizing sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Location Leadership: Oversee and manage all aspects of three cemetery properties, from staff management to daily operations.
• Sales & Revenue Growth: Personally generate sales through direct family engagement while training and leading staff to achieve sales targets.
• Customer Care: Provide compassionate, professional service to families making pre-need and at-need arrangements.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with all state regulations and company policies while maintaining high standards across all properties.
• Community Engagement: Build relationships with local organizations, religious institutions, and community partners to expand reach and sales opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Minimum 3–5 years of cemetery, funeral, or direct-to-consumer sales experience (pre-need/at-need strongly preferred).
✅ Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to run multiple locations.
✅ Demonstrated success in person-to-person sales and closing high-value arrangements .
✅ Excellent communication, compassion, and customer service skills.
✅ A self-starter mentality—the ability to take ownership and treat the role like running your own business.
