The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
The provider is responsible for all care, including preventative care, diagnosis, management, and treatment to all patients and after hours call.
Essential Functions:
- Complete age appropriate evaluations and preventative care
- Routine age appropriate screenings as advised by American Academy of Pediatrics
- Provide routine immunizations as directed by American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control
- Management of acute and chronic illness
- Review of information from patient caretakers and patient
- Diagnostic testing as appropriate
- Prescription of pharmacological agents where indicated and management of prescribed medications
- Performance of procedures where indicated
- Referral and coordination of care with specialty providers when appropriate
- Management of care including home nursing orders, durable medical equipment, and plans of care for school
- Anticipatory guidance regarding growth, development, and medical conditions to caretakers
- Educate caretakers regarding pharmacotherapy, as needed
- Educate caretakers regarding procedures, as needed
Schedule:
- 20 hours primary care
- 4 hours training/chronic disease
