Responsibilities

• Working alongside Partners on all aspects of litigation cases and meeting with clients
• Drafting briefs and motions
• Preparing and analyzing proposals
• Researching and analyzing case law
• Attending union negotiations and school board meetings
• Tracking own billable hours

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA accredited law school and admitted to practice in New Jersey
• Litigation experience or a strong interest in gaining litigation experience

• Personable and well-rounded with a strong work ethic
• Conscientious and humble with outstanding communication skills
• An ability to take and appreciate constructive feedback

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience through a Judicial Clerkship

• Experience in civil litigation, labor and employment law, special education law, and/or real estate transactional law
• Clio and Westlaw experience
