Welcome to an exceptional opportunity at Professor Gatsby's Heating & Cooling, located in West Berlin, NJ. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of full-time HVAC Dispatcher . We offer this customer service position a competitive compensation ranging from $17 to $22 per hour plus commission . You will work full-time with a flexible schedule. Shifts are available between Monday - Friday or Tuesday – Saturday, operating from 7 am to 6 pm .

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As an HVAC Dispatcher, you will serve as the linchpin between our customers and service technicians. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the daily schedule of service calls, prioritizing urgent matters, and efficiently managing the assignment of tasks. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will engage with customers over the phone, providing updates, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to promote maintenance plans and marketing initiatives, contributing to the company's growth while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

• This position would be a good fit for a highly organized person with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. What matters most is that you meet the following requirements:

  • Experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Proficiency with phone and email communication
  • Drive to succeed and ability to take initiative with customers

The ability to upsell products and services is a plus! You'll ensure seamless communication between our customers and technicians. Your day will be filled with calls so you'll prioritize urgent issues and fill the schedule board efficiently. You will be the friendly voice customers hear when they call as you provide updates, schedule appointments, and conduct follow-up calls.
