Leasing Administrative Assistant
Job Title: Leasing Administrative Assistant
Location: Barnegat, New Jersey
Compensation: $20.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday Leasing Administrative Assistant Job Duties:
Manage lease renewals, including preparing notices, tracking responses, and following up with residents
Assist with lease recertifications in compliance with company policies and housing regulations
Maintain accurate and organized resident records (digital and physical files)
Process and track rent payments to ensure accurate resident account balances
Respond to resident inquiries regarding renewals, recertifications, and rent payments
Support management with delinquent accounts and required notices
Provide professional, timely customer service to promote positive resident relations
Partner with leasing and property management teams to support daily operations and ensure a smooth resident experience
Leasing Administrative Assistant Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in property management, leasing, or administrative support in a housing-related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with affordable housing programs, recertifications, or fair housing laws is preferred.
