Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is ideal for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a short-term contract within a K-12 educational setting. The assignment offers 1-2 months of leave coverage supporting students across all grade levels. The role is located in Edison, NJ.
Key qualifications include:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY preferred)
- Experience delivering speech services in school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy for K-12 students
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services aligned with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress
- Maintain clear, detailed documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to data gathering efforts
