Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, 12-week contract opportunity offers a leadership role overseeing a home infusion pharmacy in Wayne, NJ. The position requires an experienced Pharmacist in Charge licensed in both New Jersey and California, ready to manage daily pharmacy operations with a skilled team comprised of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure regulatory compliance for sterile and hazardous drug compounding
• Lead staff development, training, and performance management initiatives
• Maintain adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, Board of Pharmacy regulations, and DEA requirements
• Oversee pharmacy staff including pharmacists and technicians
• Review and approve patient care plans, verifying therapy appropriateness, dosing accuracy, and medication compatibility

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unrestricted New Jersey and California Pharmacist licenses
• Proven Pharmacy in Charge or management experience
• Familiarity with sterile medication verification; IV compounding experience preferred but not mandatory
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulatory standards and operations
• Local candidates preferred due to the on-site nature of the role

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
• No on-call duties required
