Project Manager - Civil Site Design

What We Are Looking For

• A valid NJ Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain one is required. Candidates should have at least an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification.
• 5–10+ years of comprehensive experience in civil/site design.
• Extensive knowledge in New Jersey land development, including stormwater management, grading, erosion and sediment control, and utilities.
• Experience with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and municipal agency permitting processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or equivalent stormwater design tools.
• Strong communication skills, with an unwavering commitment to quality and accountability.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach, balanced with the capability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and design diverse land development projects, including multi-use, residential, commercial, and institutional, from concept to final approval.
• Navigate the local municipal approval process, ensuring efficient coordination and timely submissions.
• Develop comprehensive site designs, including stormwater systems, grading, erosion and sediment control plans, utility layouts, and conduct regulatory research.
• Prepare concept plans, detailed site plans, subdivision plans, engineering reports, and stormwater management documentation.
• Act as the primary point of contact, maintaining communication with clients, contractors, sub-consultants, and team members.
