Job Description:

A well-established enterprise technology team is seeking a senior-level Full-Stack .NET Developer to support a high-visibility modernization effort. The role is backend-heavy (70 80%) with light React work and offers a pathway to a tech lead role for the right candidate. You'll contribute to large-scale platform upgrades, replace legacy components, and eventually play a role in structuring and leading future development pods.

This is a deeply technical environment where code quality, architecture, and long-term system thinking are prioritized over showmanship. The team is collaborative but expects engineers to be self-directed, hands-on, and unafraid to challenge assumptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with modern .NET Core (7 or 8) to develop and maintain server-side components
• Write clean, testable code that supports robust backend workflows and service interactions
• Contribute to light front-end functionality using React as needed
• Participate in modernization and refactoring of legacy systems (COBOL exposure helpful but not required)
• Own your own testing - QA resources are limited at this stage
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and long-term architectural planning

Must-Have Skills

• Expert-level experience with .NET Core
• Proficiency in SQL and backend development best practices
• Working experience with React or a similar front-end framework
• Strong ability to work independently and produce production-ready code
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with other strong engineers

Bonus Points For

• Prior exposure to COBOL or other legacy platforms
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure
