This is a full-time nonexempt position.

2nd Shift -Monday - Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm

This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager

The successful candidate should have experience in a pharmaceutical or laboratory setting. Understanding of cGMP/cGLP, USP and basic laboratory regulations and functions are required. The candidate is responsible for confirming dimensions of vials and supplies and other raw materials as well as inspection of finished product. The successful candidate will ensure the departmental work is being completed as per company (SOPs), customer, and regulatory (i.e. cGMP) standards. This individual will ensure notebooks and data logs are filled timely and accurately, batch records are issued and that the correct labels are printed. In addition, this individual will be responsible for receiving and logging in raw material, inspecting/testing raw material, and packaging, inspecting and shipping finished goods and other materials.

The individual should be willing to travel between internal buildings (all local within Fairfield and Pine Brook, NJ) as needed.

Job Requirements:

-High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of experience working in a sterilization environment is preferred.
-Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Able to write legibly on a consistent basis.
-Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
-Must be willing to work established shifts.
-Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time.
-Proficient with a computer and software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Must be able to tolerate occasional exposure to high temperatures and high humidity.
