ServiceNow ITAM Architect USA

Our client, a global tech company, are hiring a ServiceNow ITAM Architect to join the team remotely on a contract basis. With a strong focus on Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM), the successful candidate will work with stakeholders to design end-to-end architecture, ensuring successful platform adoption and maximizing value realization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow ITAM solutions, including HAM and SAM, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Create scalable, sustainable ServiceNow solutions customized to client needs, with a focus on HAM Pro and SAM Pro.

• Oversee the technical design and development of ITAM modules, ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate asset data and workflows seamlessly.

• Define and enforce architectural standards and governance to maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow platform.

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture business requirements and convert them into actionable technical designs.

• Lead and mentor ServiceNow developers and junior architects, providing guidance and support.

• Contribute to roadmap planning and platform optimization strategies to ensure continuous improvement and value delivery.

Skillset

• Minimum of five years of experience in ServiceNow platform architecture and administration.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITAM, HAM or SAM.

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus.

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, including HAM Pro and SAM Pro.

• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB and integrations with third-party systems.

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.

• Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), integrations (REST, SOAP) and MID Server configurations.

• Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

• Solid understanding of software license models and compliance strategies.

• Experience working in regulated industries, such as finance, healthcare or government is a bonus.
