Role Overview As a Vehicle Logistics Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the success of our Fisker Delivery and Logistics Teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are delivered safely and promptly from Fisker facilities to customer-designated locations. Your primary duties will include identifying trends and issues, developing and implementing logistics strategies, executing day-to-day delivery status tracking, and collaborating with other departments to ensure that logistics operations are aligned with business goals. We are looking for an independent self-starter who can excel through operational excellence, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a detail-oriented work style. Responsibilities - Manage and monitor vehicle flows from Fisker facilities to their Final Mile Destinations.
- Collaborate with teams such as Sales Operations, Trade-In, Aftersales, Vehicle Administration, finished vehicle logistics, and 3PL service providers.
- Maintain and interpret logistics data such as availability, reliability, and supply chain management.
- Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, delivery processes, order accuracy, and damage claims.
- Work with IT to maintain data incorporated in the systems correctly, such as logistics pricing data.
- Audit and process invoices in a timely manner.
- Assist with Special Moves Administration, as support is needed.
- Review the impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers, and report results to the Sales Operations Manager.
Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in Transportation logistics, preferably with Final Mile Deliveries
- Knowledge of logistics software, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in customer service or automotive fields is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and address their inquiries or concerns.
- Good technical aptitude and ability to understand vehicle features and functions.
- Time management and organizational skills to prioritize deliveries and manage schedules effectively.
- Previous demonstration of Full Microsoft Office and Teams
- Well organized and detail-oriented with exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Proven history of driving projects from inception to completion.
Expected Salary Range: $20 -$33 per hour. Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs. Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees. The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
