Java FSD

Akkodis is seeking a Java FSD for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices while building robust APIs and managing SQL‑based data operations.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $43/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java FSD job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

• Build and enhance RESTful APIs while ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.

• Work with SQL Server/Oracle databases, writing efficient queries and optimizing data access logic.

• Contribute to front‑end development and integration, ensuring seamless interaction between UI and backend services.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high‑quality solutions.

• Support secondary tech stack components such as C#, .NET (WCF/WPF) when needed for integration or maintenance tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in full‑stack development with strong backend and microservices expertise.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and SQL (SQL Server/Oracle) with proven experience building enterprise applications.

• Ability to work with C#/.NET (WCF/WPF) as a secondary skill set for integration or legacy module support.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $43.00 per hour
