Accountant Senior

We are hiring an Accountant Senior for one of our clients in Trenton, NJ.

Job Description:

• Prepare clear, sound, accurate, and informative statistical and other reports containing findings, analyses, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Ensure department regulations and accounting procedures are observed.
• Conduct audits and examinations of books and financial affairs.
• Prepare reports of audits.

Skills required:

• Excellent writing skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• mCarrier, Outlook, Word, and Excel

Education required:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor s degree, including or supplemented by 21 semester hour credits in professional accounting courses.
• **Must provide transcripts**

Experience required:

• Knowledge of the principles and methods used in accounting and auditing.
• Ability to plan and carry out analytic studies and investigations, or research assignments in order to produce reports containing clear, sound, and accurate analytic data findings and recommendations, including suggested implementation techniques.
• Ability to learn to analyze accounting and auditing problems, organize auditing and accounting work, and develop work methods.
• Ability to learn to apply auditing and accounting methods to auditing situations.
• Ability to learn to check financial records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with the law.
• Ability to maintain records and files.

Work hours:

• 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM - EST
• Lunch Hours: 1 hour (Unpaid)

• Parking: Parking will be discussed with the CLP at the interview.
• BGV/Background check: Need fingerprinting (Identogo), CLP needs to pay up to $65 or more.
