Board-Certified Anesthesiologist - Northern New Jersey

Location: Northern New Jersey Employment Type: Full-Time | Outpatient Surgery Center Compensation: $450,000 – $550,000 annually depending on call preference

A highly respected private anesthesia group in northern New Jersey is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join their premier ambulatory surgical center. This is primarily an outpatient surgery center position offering exceptional work-life balance - with the unique option to supplement your income through voluntary hospital call if you choose. There is no mandatory call. Ever.

No nights. No weekends. No mandatory call. Just high-quality anesthesia care in a physician-friendly environment that values your time as much as your expertise.

What You'll Do

• Independently manage a diverse caseload including orthopedic, gastrointestinal, ophthalmic, and general surgical procedures
• Collaborate with experienced surgeons and a high-performing clinical team committed to efficiency and patient safety
• Deliver comprehensive perioperative care with a focus on clinical excellence and outstanding patient outcomes
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold the highest professional standards

Compensation & Benefits

• ASC Only (No Call): $450,000 annually
• ASC + Voluntary Hospital Call: Up to $550,000 annually - call is strictly optional, never mandatory. For those who choose to take voluntary hospital call, this is also a valuable opportunity to maintain and sharpen your full range of anesthesia skills - keeping you clinically well-rounded while significantly boosting your annual compensation.

Schedule

• Hours: 38–40 hours per week

What We're Looking For

• Current Board Certification in Anesthesiology (ABA)
• Active and unrestricted New Jersey State Medical License
• Demonstrated expertise in regional anesthesia techniques
• Strong clinical decision-making skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaborative team approach
• A patient-focused physician committed to clinical excellence
