The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
Under the direction of the Manager, the driver is responsible for transporting, counseling and transporting staff to and from various locations in Hudson County.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma
- Must possess and maintain a valid NJ State Driver’s License.
- General knowledge of auto mechanics is preferred with the ability to operate a Winnebago-type vehicle safely.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and days.
- Must be willing to travel into the community of Hudson County.
Preferred:
- 2–3 years experience
- College degree
Scheduling Requirements
- Shitt: Days
- Time: 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Status: PartTime
- Hours: 24hrs.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for transporting Counseling and Testing staff to and from various locations in Hudson County.
- Responsible for scheduling and maintenance as needed.
- Responsible for keeping the van clean.
- Responsible for keeping daily mobile van logs.
- Attends bi-weekly multidisciplinary staff meetings.
- Assists with coordinating van repairs.
- Responsible for completing daily mobile van cleaning.
- Maintain a safe environment during all outreach events.
- Maintains communication with all agencies for parking purposes.
- Complies with unit and departmental scheduling guidelines.
- Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments, ie, damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas in mobile van.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
